Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the InterContinental Hotel, Quality Hill Playhouse will present Encore!, a dinner gala to celebrate it's 15th anniversary. Sally Wood is serving as honorary chairman. The festive evening begins at 6:30p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction followed by dinner and a musical program featuring the talents of J. Kent Barnhart and Deborah Ausemus.

J. Kent Barnhart first cut his teeth as a theatrical producer in partnership with Deborah Ausemus. The two performed music in Kansas City's Simpson House, and they produced Simply Cole Porter, which they performed in New York, London and St. Thomas.

We are delighted to have Deborah join Kent for Encore! as we rekindle the excitement of that first musical partnership. Share the rare opportunity to hear Kent perform the seldom-heard piano arrangement of "Rhapsody in Blue." The reunion continues as Kent and Deborah perform segments from their musical Simply Cole Porter.

One-on-One Performance Series

Our One-on-One with the Performers series continues in 2011 with intimate cabaret performances featuring Alison Sneegas Borberg and Tim Scott. Join host J. Kent Barnhart as he hosts Alison and Tim sharing their musical experiences and answering questions from the audience.

Quality Hill Playhouse returns to the Big Apple

Quality Hill Playhouse will be returning to New York City September 1-5, 2010 for a fun-filled Broadway theatre trip. J. Cost is $2,295 per person, based on double occupancy, which includes a $100 contribution to Quality Hill Playhouse.
